Have you ever considered learning calligraphy? Or just interested in exploring a creative outlet, in a beautiful space, with a cold pint or fresh brewed coffee to help you along? Kickstart your calligraphy journey with this three hour beginners workshop, hosted by Stacey of Gold Petal Design, at the Bannerman Brewery, in downtown St. John's.
This beginners workshop will provide you with an introduction to the art of brush lettering and modern calligraphy. We'll start off with a review of all the supplies provided, followed by learning the basic strokes, lower case and upper case alphabets, and finally how to bring it all together with letter connections and practice phrases.
No experience needed! This is a beginner workshop focusing on the fundamentals of calligraphy and forming letters. By the end of the workshop you'll be well on your way to writing beautiful words, and you’ll have all the tools to get started.

Workshop tickets are non-refundable but transferrable to another person for the same date/time. Please email me to inform of any changes at least 36 hours prior to the workshop.
There will be photography taken at this event that may be used in marketing material by Gold Petal Design. By attending this event, you consent to this, & to the use of any images you may be a part of, unless you inform me in advance.
Please show up 10 minutes early to ensure we can start on time.
This event is limited to 18 participants to ensure the instructor can provide one on one support to each individual throughout the workshop.
Please bring your own mask to be worn at all times when you are not sitting in your designated seat during the workshop.
